This page will list all of our FAQ's for the program- Frequently Asked Questions.
Question: Will we practice today? What is the severe weather policy?
Answer: We will practice on every scheduled practice day, and play on every scheduled game-day. If the weather turns severe, practice will be canceled by the director of the program. You will get a notification via the Band App, and it will be posted on our Facebook page. If we are on the field at the time the weather turns severe, the director or the coaches will advise the kids to leave the field. TSSAA /Tri-County rules for weather are 30 minutes pause between lightening and/or thunder. This means- if lightening is visible- or we hear thunder- everyone needs to leave the filed for at least 30 minutes- at which time the all-clear will be given, or will be postponed another 30 minutes.
Question: It's raining- will there be practice?
Answer: Yes. No question. Without a doubt. If weather turns severe, see Q&A above.
Question: I'll be late to practice- who do I notify?
Answer: Your players coach- not the director.
Question: It's so hot- are we going to practice/play in this heat?
Answer: Yes. Hydration is key during the heat. If the heat index reaches a certain temp, it will fall in line with the severe weather policy, and coaches/refs/director will make judgement calls on when to pause play/practice, and when it is safe to resume.
